Day-by-day

Your first day of scuba diving on Mafia Island will be a nice, relaxing 12M dive near the shore. You’ll see some nice coral reefs, and maybe even a sea turtle or two!

Your second day will include a dive further off the coast. You may be able to visit some underwater cave systems, and might even encounter a whale shark!

Where is Mafia Island?

Mafia Island is a short plane ride away from Dar es Salaam. The island is secluded enough to not be overrun with tourists, but popular enough to have a wide variety of interesting activities.
